Community Service Project - On weekdays and weekends from 12 noon to 3pm, we can use a community service team of 6 to 8 volunteers to help us keep the Ronald McDonald House clean and organized for our guest families. RMHC Philly will provide all cleaning supplies. Tasks might include:
- Clean indoor and outdoor dining tables, chairs, booster seats and highchairs
- Sweep/Swiffer dining room floors
- Refill napkin dispensers
- Clean microwave ovens and grab-and-go food stations
- Wipe/sanitize toys and high touch surfaces in the playrooms
- Tidy and sanitize the movie theater seats
- Vacuum elevator lobbies
- Sweep patios and pathways and pick up debris
- Furniture move
- Attic/basement cleanout
- Gardening
All volunteers must be age 16 years or older, and show photo ID at check-in. Our COVID-19 safety protocols requiring facemasks and proof of vaccination are temporarily lifted, but we reserve the right to reinstate them in the event of a health emergency.
