Helping Veterans Experience the Healing Power of Nature.
We are creating a beautiful Sunflower Farm in NE Philly and offering an opportunity for members of the Veteran Community to get back to work. And we need your help! This is your chance to get an up close and personal look at the new Sunflower Farm at Pennypack!
Volunteers will register guests, do some light weeding, water and harvest veggies, and help guests cut their own sunflowers. We'll also be working on the raised beds and meeting members of the community.
