GivingTuesday is a Global generosity movement which encourages people to transform their communities. This year, the Union and Malamut Law will be curating giving bags for the unhoused within the South Jersey area. Each giving bag will be filled with daily necessities to improve hygiene, nourish, and prevent colds during the Winter months.
Please drop off completed Giving Bags between 9am-5pm at the Union Power Plant Lobby (2501 Seaport Drive Chester PA 19013) or Malamut Law Cherry Hill office (457 Haddonfield Rd., STE 500) between November 18th-November 26th. There will be a donation bin in the lobby with a sheet to mark down your donation!
Each giving bag must include 8 or more of these necessary items:
- A pair of socks
- Winter hat, gloves, scarf
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Comb(s) or Brushes
- Mints
- Lip Balm
- Hand Sanitizer
- Body Wipes
- Medicine
- Nutritional Snack(s)
- Ziploc Bag(s)
1-5 giving bags donated: 1 U-Serve Hour
6-10 giving bags donated: 2 U-Serve Hours
10+ giving bags donated: 3 U-Serve Hours (max)
