Keep Music Alive is seeking volunteers for a Musical Instrument Petting Zoo (no animals involved) event for the Chalk Fest held at the Subaru Park @ Union Yards (Philly Union) in Chester, PA on August 23rd from 10AM to 3PM. NO MUSICAL SKILLS or experience required. Volunteers greet attendees and keep tables of instrument organized, along with their signs. We'll show you how to demonstrate some of the more unique percussion instruments (it takes only seconds) – you’ll think they’re really neat. Join us - you'll have lots of fun introducing children and their adults to different instruments.
High School Students: Volunteer Service Credit is available for high school students, which is helpful for employment and college applications, honor societies, scouts and other organizations.
College Students: We offer a financial stipend to students attending college in the fall, along with current college & recent college graduates.
