Volunteer: We Need Baked Goods! 2026Every Sunday we go to Philadelphia to feed the unhoused and underprivileged. We have a weekly need for any kind of baked goods to serve. Baking is done in your own home. You can baked whatever you like (cookies, brownies, muffins, etc) and when they are cooled they are to be packaged into individual snack bags. Each participant should bake at least 2 dozen items. Most popular sandwiches are turkey and beef bologna. Many do not eat pork so we tend to stay away from ham or pork products. Please prepare at least 2 dozen sandwiches on white or wheat bread. Please do not add condiments of any kind as it makes the bread soggy. Sandwiches should be packed in individual sandwich bags. We offer them hot food, baked goods, cereal, coffee, water, Blessing Bags, socks and whatever else has been donated that week. You will be serving from behind a table and everything will be provided.
