The Girls on the Run 5K is a celebration of joyful, healthy and confident girls and the culmination of our 8-week after school program. Our 2026 5K will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at Rose Tree Park in Media. This spring, over 1,600 girls in 3rd-8th grades will cross the finish line. We are estimating over 4,000 people will attend our 5K including girls, coaches, families, volunteers, spectators, and more. Our 5K is a great opportunity for volunteer groups, community engagement, and to earn service hours. Volunteer roles include: course marshals, setup, water stop, merchandise, medal distribution, and more.
