Who We Are

The Sunscreen Project started shortly after my diagnosis with Melanoma. My brother, who was a police officer, got a bad sunburn while working a traffic assignment. When I asked why he let this happen, he said he simply did not have any sunscreen available. After much thought, I decided that if police officers had sunscreen in their lockers or even in their patrol cars, they may be more likely to wear it. I was right! The skin is the last thing first responders think to protect yet it is the largest organ on our body! The first year started with just to small departments and last year we delivered over 1200 sunscreens all over Gloucester County, NJ. We want to crush last year's reach with your help!

What We Do

The Sunscreen Project's mission is to provide sunscreen to local law enforcement and eventually all first responders, while spreading Melanoma Awareness.
